Got the item pretty quickly, and it was well packed. The Amp is pretty nice. I swapped it for a model that did not have a low pass filter. Just by cutting off the bottom 40hz that my speakers can’t reproduce, it seems to do a bit better with the lower range it can reproduce. Looking forward to getting a sub to fill in that low pass section.

The amplifier is very well made, solid and that’s it! I definitely expected much more from it, considering the reviews of people and the reviews on you tube! I say this not because the amplifier is not good, it is good, but I compared it with another amplifier for 12-13$, bought from here, but the difference was really tangible and audible! And in favor of this most ordinary board, which is 2×100 watts and has one headphone input, but the power and bass that it puts out make the Douk Audio A5 downright ridiculous, yes, we are talking about quality! The only thing that is a minus of the zk-1002T is that when there is no song playing, there is noise in the speakers. I will try to upgrade it with SX52B operational amplifiers and if there is no difference, I will throw it off the balcony!

Incredibly good sounding amplifier for the money. I have a pair of mono amps that sell for $10,000/pair, and I can say that the Douk A5 with a 48v power supply, paired with a speaker of 90+ dB sensitivity, and played at moderate listening levels had all of the bass control and midrange magic of the $10,000 mono amps. The highs were a little flat and subdued, but the amp never ever exhibited the typical class D glare or harshness. I plan on replacing the stock opamp with Sparkos discrete opamps to improve the performance further. I can highly recommend this amp if you use it with moderately efficient speakers and don’t need to play at high listening levels. It may be all you ever need.

Excellent inexpensive desktop amplifier. I have this and the Fosi Audio V3. More compact than the Fosi. I also prefer the sound of the A5 – more bass and wider soundstage than the V3. My setup is: Computer to Bluesound Node (2021) via optical to A5 driving JBL Classic L52 speakers. Plenty of power for my desktop/nearfield listening needs using the smallest power supply. Currently don’t have a subwoofer for this system, so I haven’t tried the lowpass filter.
