Possibly not for “audiophiles” but for less pretentious buyers with average hearing this is a decent sounding desktop DAC Amp and great value, (at the time of purchase) from this supplier. I originally bought one on Amazon and was very happy with the sound quality: with the treble control set to it’s middle postion, it gives plenty of detail with no sibilance or sharpness and with the bass control set to zero it gives a full, reasonably tight bass. Set to it’s middle postion I reckon it will give even the most avid basshead more than enough to satisfy. The noise floor is also excellent and (to my ears) has no discernible hiss or hum. Not for the first time, as with couple of other products I’ve bought on Amazon, I then found this amp on AliExpress at a much better price, and with live tracking, which I always find reassuring, delivery took 5 days as promised. Needless to say, I’m now just waiting for my refund from Amazon

Pretty good external audio card. In case of USB connection you should connect it direct to usb port on your pc/laptop, not through any usb hub.

Bought it for my workplace, wanted something small with physical volume knob. Design is fantastic, oldschool hi-end audio like, love it. Audio quality is more than enough for nonaudiophile guy like me. Volume range is beyond need, i listen at 50%, over 75% with max bass sound gets distorted. I like knobs to adjust bass and treble continuosly rather than boost button with fixed level . My only complaint is volume knob, i wish it was bigger and separated from other knobs
